Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge Pembroke, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday January 29, 2018 in her 95th year. Marion Kennedy (nee Tallet) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Angus Kennedy. Loved and cherished mother of Dan Kennedy (Sharon), Kanata, Janet Baird (Jim), Pembroke, Lorna Chant (Harry Mercer) Sidney, BC, David Kennedy, Pembroke, Susan Lebrun (Peter Maheux), Kanata and Paul Kennedy (Joanne Fichault), Gatineau QC. Loving grandmotherJason, Amy (Braden), Russell (Erinn), Alison, Virginia(Jeremy), Jeremy (Elizabeth), Justan (Lisa), Steven (Tabetha),Jonathan(Catherine) and great grandchildren Maya, Andrew, Gavin,Evelyn, Ethan, Marcus, Rachael,and Carly. Sister of the late Charles Tallett. Daughter of the late Charles and Hilda (nee Lindsey) Tallet. Predeceased by son-in-law Luc Lebrun. Marion is survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joan Tallett, Lucy Lewis (late John), Dan Kennedy (late Barbara), Vincent Kennedy (Esther), Joseph Kennedy (Jackie), Anastasia Jennings (Jim) and predeceased by Molly Montgomery (late Denis). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marion with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday 2-4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 3rd at 10:30 a.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Miramichi Lodge for the care and compassion shown to our mother. In memory of Marion, donations to Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
