Peacefully at home following a courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side on Thursday February 1, 2018 in his 77th year. Grady Lewis of Pembroke, beloved husband of Theresa Lewis (nee Carroll). Cherished father of Kim Boone (Donnie), Brent Lewis (Wendy), Brian Lewis (Shelley) and Kirk Lewis (Doreen) all of Pembroke. Loved Poppa to Brianne (Brian), Taylor (Samantha), Jordan, Karlie (Sam), Courtney (Ronnie) and Abby and great-grandchildren Olivia, Aaden and Aubrey. Dear brother of Karen Dwyer (Harold), Roseanne Scheuneman (late Terry), Pearson Lewis, and predeceased by his sisters Lee Ann Spencer, Sandra Hopper, Lana Severin and brothers Kenneth, Larry, Morgan and Brian Lewis and infant twins. Brother-in-law of Lloyd Hopper, Bill Spencer, Cecilia Demers (late Leo), Geraldine Charkavi (late Welland) and Earl Carroll (Mary) and the late Albert Carroll, Elmer Carroll (late Norma), Clifford Carroll (late Pearl) and Loretta Lair (late Noel).Son of the late Elijah and Viola (nee Lehman) Lewis. Grady will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Grady with Family during a visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Monday. ( Members of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Lorrain Council will meet at the Funeral Home Sunday at 7:30 p.m.) A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, February 5th at 11 o’clock in St. Columbkille's Cathedral Pembroke.
