Condolence: Dear Theresa, Kirk and all the Grady's families we had no idea that Grady was so sick. Please know that you are in our prayers and thoughts as you go through this trying time to lose such a character as Grady.
When I first met Grady it was at an out of town weekend union Seminar. I was introduced to him as the old grandfather of Union knowledge and a really old guy that had everyone's respect. Looking back he had to be only in his 40's. He would lazily sit in the big old chair and union workers would surround him asking him questions to his delight. He had command.
He was funny, sincere and believed in what he represented.
One of my sons worked with him for a while and assured me he was a pleasant man to be around.
I heard many stories from them of his immaculate garden and lawn that was like no other not even the Malibu gulf course could compare to his magnificent landscape.
He has left his memories not only on me and my family but to numerous union members across the land.
His memories will stay with us as I hope you all find your hearts open to the great memories he has left each and every one of you. These memories will help you grief a loved one who had a full life and is now at peace. God bless you all. pch
