Franklin (Frank) Nash
Frank passed away with his 4 children Debi Arsenault (predeceased by Ed) of Kingston, Nova Scotia; Patty Faught (Tom) of Timmins; Chris of Chalk River; and Steve (Kim) of Kingston, Ontario) by his side, in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Libby (nee Moore) of more than 62 years, as well as two of his sisters Jean Potvin and Mary Smith. Survived by sister Margaret Davies. Frank will be missed and remembered by many, including nieces/nephews, 10 grandchildren, more than a baker’s dozen of great grand children and scores of friends. Largely a self-made man, he worked hard with Libby for success. Frank served in the Canadian Forces for many years ,his service included deployments to Korea/Japan, Egypt (twice) and France. He undertook many jobs and activities in his life, among his favourites were eating, golfing, fishing, being around friends/family, fiddling around with the recycling, and his dog. A special thanks to the very caring and attentive staff at Medical 2 at Pembroke Regional Hospital. Friends are invited to join Frank’s Family for a Memorial Funeral Service on Monday morning June 18th at 11 o’clock in All Saint’s Anglican Church, Petawawa. Interment at a later date in All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery. In memory of Frank, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital or All Saints Church in Petawawa would be appreciated.
